Thou shall not forget to bring all the test materials needed. There's no need to bring any paper because you will be provided with answer sheet and scratch paper. Never bring your cellular phone; it's the most useless (sometimes harmful) thing you'll have during the UPCAT, if ever.

It has 248 bed capacity. The UP Manila Dormitory accepts female undergraduate students only. The fees for the UP Manila Dormitory will be socialized according to the STS bracket of the admitted residents. Rental fees range from Php 1,500 to Php 5,000 per month.

Undergraduate Program

A student must have completed a minimum of at least 30 academic units with a General Weighted Average (GWA) grade of at least 2.0 or better for BSCD Shiftees from within College and within UP Diliman, and 2.25 or better for BSSW Shiftees from within College and within UP Diliman.

There really is no dress code for universities, so students can technically wear jeans shorts and T-shirts. However, I would recommend dressing a bit nicer than that for class. I think students should feel comfortable but also look presentable for their professors.

You don't have to dress fancy, but do put in a little bit of effort. Present your best self—the self you'd want people to see as you venture off to college. If you'll be meeting with a professor, feel free to dress your outfit up a bit.

College orientation attire

You don't need to wear professional clothing, but you should wear something that is clean and free from holes or profanity. Since you'll probably be spending a fair amount of time outside, be sure to wear sunscreen! It's a good idea to travel light, since you'll be walking around campus.

College culture: Different colleges have different dress codes and norms. Some colleges may have a more formal dress code, while others may be more relaxed and allow for comfortable clothing. Research the dress culture of your college and consider dressing appropriately for that environment.
