Welcome to the Into Indie Games walkthrough for Dungeons of Hinterberg. In this part of our Dungeons of Hinterberg walkthrough, we explore the dungeon Mushroom Isles in Hinterwald.

Day 14: Morning
Speak to Alex and head to Hinterwald.
Day 14: Noon
Head to Mushroom Glade.
Talk to the dog, in my case, Walter and he will dig up the entrance to Mushroom Isles.
Dungeon: Mushroom Isles
After entering the dungeon, head up the hill and use Whirlwind to cross the water to get to the other side. Jump on the spinning wheel and then to the second one on the right to get to a chest containing a Medium HP Potion. Jump back on the spinning wheel and pick up a bomb with your secondary spell and shoot it at the eye, destroying the goo. There is a chest here on the right, the ladder to which we cant get to right now.
Get to the other side and run through the opening. In the next area, blow on the Alphorn.
This will make the water blue and safe to walk on. Go back and get the chest and then back to Alphorn, walk over to the ladder on the right of the horn. Zipline to the other side. There is a Way Stone here and there are two towers with Ziplines on either side of the waterfall. Climb up the one on the right first.
Once over to the other side, whirlwind over the water and head to the back and to the bomb tree. Use it to clear the goo blocking the way.
Go up the path you just cleared – you need to whirlwind over the small pool – and then whirlwind over the bed of thorns after going up the stairs. Use the bombtree here to clear out the goo on the other side – using Wind Projectile.
Go over to the path you just cleared and make your way on to the spinning discs. The large disc will have enemies, so clear them out and get on the small platform on the side. We need to jump and avoid the thorns here on the smaller discs.
Once on the second disc, whirlwind up the ramp and then the other discs till you make it to the bomb tree. Use the bomb to clear the goo infront of you, by hitting the eye. Now go over there and blow the Alphorn. The water will turn blue. Go down below and open up the chest for a new pair of leggings. Now, make your way back up to the tower and zipline back to the central island.
Now, go to the other tower on the other side of the island and zipline over. On the other side, activate the Way Stone and cross over the water with Whirlwind. Go through the narrow gap and into the area with the spinning discs and you will be ambushed. Kill the enemies and move on. Blow the Alphorn and the water will turn blue – climb up to the tower and go to the right to pick new pads.
Now zipline back to the central island. Once there head up the giant mushroom in the middle.
Cross over to the other side to where the bomb tree is and use it to clear the goo. Go through and use whirlwind to cross the bed of thorns. After the final fight, keep going until you can exit the dungeon.
Day 14: Evening
I met with Gertude today and she will start the Quest: Where is it…? You have to find Gertrude’s brooch. It’s in the location marked on the map below.
You can choose to spend the evening with Gertrude for 20,000 HBs or spend it some other way. I chose to spend it with Gertrude.

End the night by going to bed.
