Locals love the Hurricane Turn for the flagstop access to the backcountry; visitors appreciate the views of Denali, the Indian River Valley and Hurricane Gulch. In the winter months, the Hurricane Turn makes the round-trip journey to Hurricane starting from Anchorage.
